Turkey Meatballs

I went to the grocery store yesterday, attempting to buy frozen meatballs, but I couldn't find them. Because I didn't want to go to another store, I decided to make them myself. I adjusted a few recipes I found online in order to use ingredients I had at home.

Ingredients:
1 lb. ground turkey
3 italian sausages, casing removed
2 tbsp parsley
1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
2 tbsp garlic salt
1/4 cup parmasean cheese
Vegetable oil, for pan frying

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. (I learned the hard way that the meat should be room temperature-- otherwise your fingers freeze when mixing).
Roll into balls and place into pre-heated frying pan. Brown the meatballs.
Place meatballs on a papertowl covered tray. The paper towel soaks up the excess oil. Repeat the frying process in batches until all the meatballs are finished.

I then put the meatballs in the crockpot with spaghetti sauce in order to ensure they were cooked all the way through without burning. Tonight we are having meatball subs and tomorrow we are having spaghetti :)
